As the Koster Islands are mostly a nature reserve, tents and any over night camping are prohibited on the two main islands. The only exception is the campsite on Nordkoster, where you can camp provided it is open and pre-booked. Koster is popular in the summer and it is important to book in advance no matter what type of accommodation you choose!

Lyths family campsite

Right by the sea on Nordkoster's north-eastern side is the Koster Islands' only campsite. At the campsite, the number of tents is limited and you must always call and book a place in advance. If you want to come during high season, you should be out in plenty of time and camping is only allowed when the campsite is open for the season.

Lyhts Eco-cabins

Right by the sea are the seven organic cottages of family-owned Lyht. The cottages are located within the nature reserve and are situated 50-100 metres from the beach.
