Kosterhavets Ekobod – Sweden’s westernmost restaurant
Welcome to our heart place in North Koster! Here you can have a coffee, a glass of lovely organic wine under the apple tree or lunch or dinner in our garden overlooking the beautiful Kostersundet. All food is prepared on site and most of the ingredients come from our own gardens, local producers or the surrounding sea. The beautiful house we are in was built by grandmother and grandfather Anna and Åke in the late 1940s.
Many of the dishes have links to grandma and grandpa, while others are more experimental and combine Koster with the world around it.
Sweden’s westernmost cultural scene
We are Sweden’s westernmost cultural scene. We have music, art, lectures, garden theatre, cultural walks and more. The programme is updated regularly and we publish our events on social media and on the website.
“The fact that we are a place for culture is particularly pleasing, because it has a connection to the history of the house,” says Ulf, who runs the eco-farm. Grandpa played the accordion and over the years several musicians and artists have rented from grandma and grandpa.
